Welcome to eCollege online class resources!

You will be able to log in and access your class resources or contact your instructor starting the first day of the new semester.  To access your class:

1. In the "User ID" box enter your Hartnell Student ID (no beginning zeros - ID# 0012345 = 12345)
2. In the "Password" box enter the default password of "student"

Hartnell has now moved to the new student email system. (Hartnell Gmail for students). You must use Hartnell College Gmail for your online class on eCollege. Click here to access your Hartnell College Gmail account: http://mail.student.hartnell.edu

 eCollege is automatically populated with Gmail addresses for ALL students currently enrolled. If you've used eCollege before, your old email address has been updated to your new Hartnell Gmail address. You will not be able to change this in eCollege. If you prefer receiving class emails at another address, please follow the instructions explaining How to Forward Hartnell Gmail to Another Email Account.

eCollege Login Instructions

To access your class:

1. In the "User ID" box enter your Hartnell Student ID (no beginning zeros - ID# 0012345 = 12345) . You can find your ID by:
   1. Checking the back of your CatCard
   2. Logging into PAWS and clicking on “My Profile”. You will see the number under your name
   3. Checking your printed registration receipt
2. In the "Password" box enter the default password of "student"
   If you have taken online courses with Hartnell before, you may have changed your password. In this case the word “student” will no longer work. Use the last password you entered into the “my profile” section of the course. If you cannot remember your password, please click here.

In order to log into your online class you need to do the following:

1. Enroll in the class through Hartnell College Admissions. It takes 24 hours, once enrolled with A&R, to gain access into eCollege.

2. Access your email on a daily basis. Email is now the official means of communication at Hartnell, and all students are accountable for the information sent out via email.

3. Attend the orientation if one is scheduled for your class.

If you have trouble logging in, please contact helpdesk@hartnell.org or call 303-873-0005. Also, email your instructor inform him or her that you are having trouble logging in. You can also call the Tutorial Coordinator, Frank Henderson, at 755-6738 for eCollege login assistance. Evening and Saturday login assistance is available from the Hartnell Department of Distance Education/Weekend Programs at 755-6721, CAB 101, or by sending an email to the Dean of Distance Learning at jfellguth@hartnell.edu.
